What this page is for

Questions about the review itself: something that is unclear, a claim you have seen for a device and want to know how it is graded, a source you think should be reflected, or a correction you would like to suggest. These are welcome, and corrections are made to the page rather than noted elsewhere.

What this site does not do

This review does not recommend for or against any device, and it does not offer an assessment or a consultation in relation to anything it describes. It is not a booking page. There is no service offered here for any device or treatment, and nothing on this site should be read as an invitation to arrange one.

Questions about your own skin

A question about your own situation, whether a device is appropriate for you, what a reaction after a session means, or whether anything is needed at all, is a clinical question and belongs with a clinician who can examine you and see your history. The hospital’s outpatient channels are the right route for that, and the appointments page explains how they work.

If something has changed and is not settling

A mole or patch that is changing in size, shape or colour, a lesion that bleeds or will not heal, skin that is persistently red, painful or broken, or a burn or pigment change after a home session that is not settling is assessed by a clinician rather than watched. Contact the hospital’s outpatient channels or attend a dermatology service, and say which device you have been using and for how long.
